A Different Kind of Campaign

No more bad newsAre you tired of the negative rhetoric about Idaho’s public schools? Are you tired of hearing the constant message that Idaho public schools are simply failing? Well, we are too! That’s why at the Idaho School Boards Association (ISBA), we’re jumping ahead to initiate a positive conversation about Idaho’s public schools. There’s no hidden political agenda here, only positive messages and conversations about our students and our schools.

You can share the following on this website:

  1. Submit a good-news story about Idaho public school students.
  2. Submit some positive news about an Idaho school district.
  3. Tell us about you – how has an Idaho public school shaped who you are today?

We invite you to get involved. If you’re a parent, this affects you. If you’re an educator, this also affects you. If you’re just someone who believes that a good K-12 education is a fundamental right for students, this especially affects you! Your involvement is more crucial than ever. Help us sustain public and legislative support for our schools by standing up today!

I was fortunate to attend the public schools in Moscow, home of the University of Idaho–so many opportunities were afforded us, from the steady supply of very capable student teachers to the highly-qualified faculty, many of whom were spouses of University professors, we were enveloped in an academic atmosphere. It fostered a life-long love of learning and respect for and appreciation of public education in all of us.
